About Us
Jeux Après-Ski has been brought to you by Diana, Gino and Millie! We are a young family living in Val-David, Quebec. Our "real" job for the past 4 years has been owning and running a small cottage vacation resort. This store has always been in our minds, but in July of 2010 it finally became a reality! We must ask...what goes better together than wooden chalets and wooden games?
Jeux Après-Ski is dedicated to encouraging people to just sit and play together. The store is now open in the reception chalet of the Swiss Village Chalet Resort.
But we went further than just creating another game store. We provide you with strictly eco-friendly board games, safe to children and adults alike. These games come from eco-friendly and socially responsible companies, which manufacture their games with renewable sources, in respect of human rights.
Then there is also the possibility to rent all our games. Why not rent a game for the evening to try it out? A fun activity for all!
Buying or renting a Jeux Après-Ski product is to join our conviction, it’s to help nature by preserving it, it’s reuniting your family and interacting with it in a simple and happy way.

Did you know?
Along with a selection of over 200 games that are available for either rent or purchase, we have gone one step further to promote our philosophy. The following services are now available in store:
- Information on local activities and events
- Rental of GPS units and instructions for local GEO-CACHING
- Accessories for nature exploration (magnifying glass, insect kits, binoculars, etc)
- Books on local nature and activities
- Simple outdoor activities (croquet, petancle, bowling, etc)
- Ice cream and beverages
- Free Wifi
- A games table welcome for you to use anytime to play any game (FREE) in store!
- Oh...and did we mention chalets? We have those for rent too! Find our more on the Swiss Village website.

How does the game rental work?
All of our games are for rent, and even most of the puzzles! Here is how it works:
- Pick your game
- Take it home and enjoy it
- Then either
- Bring it back and pay the rental fees OR
- Keep the game and pay just the retail price
Most of our games cost between $3-$6 per night to rent.
If you decide to keep the game, you simple do not return it to the store! Our rental versions are always either a brand new, or a perfect version of the game. If the game isn't returned then one week following your rental, you will be charged the purchase price.
Please note that either a valid credit card or deposit equivalent to the game value is required in order to rent our games.
Rentals are open to everyone and it really is that simple!

To get to us from Montreal (45 minute drive):
- Take Highway 15 North
-
- Exit #76 - Val-David
- Keep right and merge onto Highway 117 North
- At the second traffic light, turn right onto Rue L'Église
- At the 4th stop sign, turn right onto Rue de la Sapinière
- You are close; we are just after the little bridge!
